About the suite

axi is a set of tools for Guild Wars 2 built around arcdps, the community combat-analysis addon. Most of the suite either reads what arcdps already knows — logs, live memory, in-game overlays — or supports the people playing around that data: guild rosters, Discord bots, stream setups, and the odd reference site. None of it replaces arcdps; it all builds on it.

The apps sort into a few loose groups. Combat & logs covers parsing and in-game overlays that turn a fight into numbers — DPS, downs, strips, boon uptime — either after the fact or live. Stream & overlays is about getting a fight in front of an audience, whether that’s a squad watching a report in Discord or a viewer watching a YouTube stream. Builds covers making and sharing character builds and team compositions. Guild & community is rosters, accounts, and the Discord bots that keep a guild organized. Reference & web is documentation: this site, the arcdps technical reference, and the shared design language everything else is drawn in.

Two apps sit outside that grouping because they’re about the suite itself rather than the game. AxiOM is the desktop launcher — it lives in your system tray, shows every app whether or not you’ve installed it, and handles installing and updating from one click. axisite, the site you’re reading, is the map: a browsable list of what exists, what each app does, and where to get it. AxiOM manages what’s on your machine; axisite describes the whole suite regardless of what you have installed.

If you’re new here, the practical path is: install AxiOM, then use this site to figure out which of the other apps are actually useful to you. Nobody needs all of them.
